Adam Tucker is a photographer based in north Dublin with a practice rooted in narrative storytelling through the combination of image and text. His work utilises collaborative research methods to create layered and dimensional works which provide the opportunity for multiple readings. Drawing from documentary, street, and collaborative photographic modes, he explores memory, place, movement, personal history, estrangement, and adventure through textual elements derived from semi-structured interviews, archival material, photo-elicitation strategies, and creative writing. Through this approach, he makes reflective and open-ended work that encourages a personal connection with the viewer.
